Good news comes in threes, they say. So it is a great pleasure, as Principal Investigator of the FBTEE project, to announce three new appointments among project participants. From January 2013, I will be leaving Leeds to take up a Professorship in History at the University of Western Sydney in Australia. Better still, I would like to congratulate my closest collaborators Vincent Hiribarren and Mark Curran on their new posts. Vincent will in January 2013 be taking up a one year lectureship in French Studies in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Leeds; meanwhile Mark has been appointed to a three year post at Queen Mary, University of London, starting October 2012. For the second time in his career, he will be filling in for distinguished eighteenth-century French historian and Royal Historical Society president Colin Jones. This blog will keep you posted about the FBTEE-related activities of all three of us.
