Welcome to the ‘French book trade in enlightenment Europe’ project news blog. The purpose of this blog is to give regular official news updates from the Leeds-based FBTEE team about progress, activities and publications. The FBTEE project is an AHRC-funded project, which aims to map the pan-European book trade of the celebrated Société typographique de Neuchâtel (STN) between 1789 and 1794. The project, led by Professor Simon Burrows, is based at the University of Leeds. For more information on the project consult the official website at http://chop.leeds.ac.uk/stn/. There is also much project-related information on the blog of Dr Mark Curran, who was employed as a research fellow for FBTEE between 2007 and 2011 and is currently working at Cambridge developing ideas for further research, at c18booktrade.wordpress.com. Visualisations and maps for the project have been developed by Vincent Hiribarren (see http://www.vincenthiribarren.com).
